Your guide will dispense interesting facts and anecdotes as you walk through two of San Francisco's oldest and most colorful neighborhoods, Chinatown and North Beach. Strolling by twilight, you will have the chance to watch Chinatown artisans form Fortune Cookies by hand. You will be encouraged to search out authentic crafts and pottery, and taste different types of dim sum from one of the oldest bakeries in Chinatown.

Tea is to Chinatown as coffee is to North Beach, and this tour will have you sampling both. As you walk past the old-style Italian cafes and restaurants that line the steep North Beach streets, your tour guide will regale you with stories of North Beach's Beatnik movement. By the end of the tour your stomach will be rumbling, and you will have a choice of two dinner options. Choose from the famed Italian restaurant, Marconi Scuie Scuie, or one of San Francisco's favorite local Chinese restaurants, Chinatown Restaurant. No matter your choice, you simply can't go wrong.

This tour is available daily at 6:00pm and lasts 3-4 hours. It is not available on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Child rates apply between the ages of 3 and 11.

Once you have completed your purchase, you'll get an e-mail linking to a voucher for each attraction and service. You must print the voucher and present it in order to gain admission or redeem services.

Reservations are required. Contact Local Tastes of the City Tours to confirm your desired tour date. The phone number will appear on the printed voucher. Meet guide in front of Café de la Presse at 352 Grant Avenue (at Bush - In front of Chinatown Gates) at the tour starting time. Voucher must be present at the start of the tour.

If you selected this tour with the meal included, when you redeem your vouchers for the tour, you will be given a choice of which restaurant you'd like to attend. Upon choosing your restaurant, you'll receive Dinner vouchers for your choice.
